• The Tri-pacer (PA22) was first produced in 1950 as a nose-wheel aircraft. The Piper Pacer, (PA20 – the tail wheel version) was produced in 1949. Ace Aviation’s aircraft was manufactured in 1960 as a tri-pacer but has been converted to a tail wheel to give it the Piper Pacer designation.
  • The Pacer and Tri-Pacer were produced with a variety of engines producing various horsepower outputs. Our aircraft has the 160 hp Lycoming engine which gives a comfortable cruising speed of 105 knots (194 km/hr), with a fixed pitch propeller.
  • It has a seating capacity of four, with intercom throughout.
  • Our aircraft has a modern interior and panel installation, with a full panel of instruments including GPS, ADF, manifold pressure, EGT, dual controls with the more modern Piper Cherokee control columns installed.
